Besty 4
My laptop charger has died!!! I've had a look online and there's plenty of places to get them, but I was just wondering if there was anywhere I could get one locally? I've had a look at my nearest computer shop but they don't do them.
Tom 14013
Are they universal or not because my brothers just died! Ebay seems to have a few mind!
ewerk 31189
Somewhere like Maplin should sell universal chargers with a load of different connectors, one of which should fit.
Besty 4
Aye, I had a look on Maplin and the universal ones are about £40. I've ordered one for my laptop off eBay for £6 to try before I go for the expensive option!
Nyff 0
The best place for chargers is definitely Ebay. Ordering them from the company themselves (or at least HP) becomes pretty costly, and the same is true for places like PC world.
Tom 14013
Got one off Ebay for £7 compatible with the DV6000, although ''you get what you pay for'' It can't be any worse than the utter shit H.P charge you a lot more for. Which only last about 2 months!
Nyff 0
I bought a keyboard for my DV9000 off Ebay for £12. I think the HP replacement ones are about £50-60 :s. It's an absolute rip off, and this one works perfectly.
Tom 14013
Well this DV6000 charger has a years warranty so I assume it's better than the HP ones for £6 odd.
