Question Time tonight

This wasn't an open panel discussing political matters with Dimbleby sat in the middle adjudicating... it was a witch hunt against one person from all sides including the presenter.

I don't like Griffin and I certainly don't agree with his views and principles but to use Question Time as a platform to shoot him down was, IMO wrong. They'd have been better off taking the rest of the panel (and Dimbleby) away and just have Griffin himself answering questions from the public.

Tbf if it was obviously going to happen, he was the main attraction and of they hadn't spent the majority of the time on Griffin and his party's policies then the BBC would have been accused of bottling it.

He wanted to come on the show and knew he would be facing a hostile panel and audience so I've no sympathy for him at all.

I must admit I did find it amusing when Griffin was asked about supporting the Nazis it came up that Griffin's father had been in the RAF and fought in the war whereas Jack Straw's father had been banged up for refusing to fight the Nazis :)

I think they're all a bunch of no-neck idiots who won't touch the issues that need sorting, the country need me to be running the show as a dictatorship, muhuhahahahahahahaaaaaaa!

I found it amusing that Griffin managed to discredit himself as a politician with his first ever official spoken words on national TV :) It was a cheap shot, had nothing to do with the debate and just showed what a wank he was imo

:icon_lol: Aye funny though, and I can't stop laughing about the Gaddafi thing. However, and anyone can debate this how they like, but Craig's use of the word "witch hunt" is completely and utterly spot on. They kept using the word democracy, but there was no democracy there, seemed like a mass propaganda attempt in that he wasn't even allowed to answer a majority of the questions properly, many would say rightly so, but if people are going to mention democracy then a witchhunt like Craig puts it, doesn't fall within the democratic remit. As I said there could've been so much more rope for him to hang himself, i.e the queers issue etc.. etc.. only doing business with "white" countries, which I can find no where in their manifesto, but if true would've shown their true agenda as much as anything, but they wouldn't let him speak. You can't answer a question by ignoring it and throwing an insult back in the other direction, Nick Griffin did it, but as I said the thing that will stick in my mind, is Britain's most powerful female muslim, doing the same, surely an intelligent muslim could answer the question about how she feels about the islamic teachings dictating rape victims are dirty and women should be regarded as second class citizens, and some pathetic muslim man in the audience tried to answer it by completely misinterpreting the teachings of the Bible. You have to consider the average person in this country as being thick as fuck, and sadly I don't think the BNP will have lost support last night.

Fucking hell man, do you deliberately go out your way to be offensive with your terminology or is it just genuine ignorance?

Also why would you be sad about the BNP not losing support last night? You being a BNP voter and all.

I think that's been covered many times on here, and an obvious demonstration of the fact you have nothing to say. On the other issue if you're gay I apologise for the terminology used if it caused offence.

As a Christian, I find the idea of Nick Griffin kissing anyone to be really creepy. :)

I reckon you're holding a secret candle for the big bear.

Was funny last night when the lesbian women told him that his feelings of repulsion were mutual.

He's the creepiest thing I've seen in a long time. He was like a giant, slobbering slug sat up there last night. Was reading an interview from a few years ago with his eldest daughter who has been spectacularly brainwashed and wants to lead the BNP in the future.

A good botting would probably make him lighten up, true, but I think I prefer the frustrated "gnhhhhhhhhhhPAKIS!" version from an entertainment point of view.

Cheap shot, I shouldn't have brought it up. Fair enough.

As for the terminology, I just think you'd be easier to take if you used better terms. I'm absolutely sure that no-one on here is going to be offended though, I've just woken up, should have left that too.

Renton is gay.

That's OK. As long as I'm not queer.

Apparently there was a scientific study done which shows that gay people have a defect in their brain :)

There was. I don't remember what scientific study it was, but it was in the papers.

I found the fact she looked like Rodney Trotter funnier than anything she said.

She was doing her bit to break the lesbian stereotype.

He's just appealing to those who don't fully understand the arguments going on but seeing his "indigenous" bollocks getting torn apart should surely have the penny drop with some people that, even his major policy, is riddled with holes.

What most people who don't fully understand the arguments will see or want to see, is an arrogant muslim woman descending to his level, by avoiding questions she's uncomfortable answering, by answering the point with an attack on their policies. Was noticable as well, that 75% of the audience were of ethnic minority, when only 7% of the population are.

His attempt at answering the KKK carry on was embarrassing it's obvious there are huge hidden agenda's there, but Christmas Tree hit the nail on the head earlier about the country needing a party who will tackle agenda's properly, no right wing party could work here, but we need a party who will stand up for black and white English people, rather than the shower of shite government and mainstream parties we have today.

There was a kind of angst/irritation in the audience at the beginning that I haven't seen for a long time. It was like they had finally cornered 'the devil' but weren't sure if he could bite back.

Nick was surprisingly, but I guess predictably demure to the barracking when he easily could have had good answers - in some ways this worked for him as a million BNP voters clenched fists and shook with anger back home at uppity 'niggers' giving it large in the safety of a studio. For instance when that Asian/Muslim geezer said, "I could do a whip round to get you a ticket out of the country" or summink...The retort should have been Nick: "I've got a million people ready to chip in for yours".... :)

He hesitated and fumbled on the holocaust question but I've seen him give straight and clever answers to that before. It must be quite something to go into a room and know 90% of the room is against you....It got to him. The BBC were clearly under massive pressure to stitch him up.

If one semi- intelligent, cross eyed fat bloke can deliver this level of angst amongst the soggy British population it can only mean one thing, the BNP are here to stay.

If they dropped race (what constitutes a British person) and ran purely on immigration they could get a handful of MP's.

I disagree, their policies are nearly all insane. For instance, he says he will deport all criminals. Well where exactly to? Is there a new Australia I haven't heard about?

Plus the first past the post system will always work against the BNP thankfully.

As I've said before that was a truely awful performance by Griffin and the man simply cannot escape his past. The report where he said in public that he'd appear moderate to the British electorate in order to get in, and once elected implement his extreme and hateful policies (as well as controlling the media), was particularly reprehensible.

I think the BNP will always be a fringe protest group at best.

that's utter shite.

What you on about you stupidest of stupid cunts. I even paused it, I'd say more like 90% of the questions posed were by people of ethnic minorities.

5/28 = 17.8%

:)

What a tool, you're missing more than half the people who spoke, including that Malcolm X type bloke who I thought was going to get up and chin him.

questions.jpg

9/25 = 36%

I'd have hoped for 50/50.
