Chaser 1321
I was told to put a punt on Curbs 3 weeks ago. Mate tried to get it in a betting shop round here and they wouldnt take odds on it.

khay 10
With any other chairman he would not have lasted as long as he did. Did not breed any sort of confidence like.

Monkeys Fist 43538
Wonder if he fancies playing in our defence? The minute he stepped out the box, his snout would be offside. (the old ones are the best)
Chaser 1321
Funny thing is the Boro fans have been crying for his head for weeks. On a day when they get 3 points, they kick him out! I think this must have been done last week but Gibbo has told him to stay on until after the next game, at which point he's stood down/been sacked. Tom 14021
Most articles seems to point out that last nights crowd was the smallest they ever had for a league game at the new ground. So as the fans weren't behind Southgate (and were showing it) perhaps finance eventually had an influence.

TheMoog 0
I see the odds of Benitez being replaced by Dalglish have been slashed, how ironic would that be that another big club resorts to one of it's legends to save their asses when the going gets tough - of course I wouldn't dream of comparing such a thing to all the abuse Newcastle fans got for wanting Keegan back, or even Shearer
Craig 6700
Dalglish has been touted as new Liverpool manager ever since he got involved with the youth policy. Even more surprised that the scousers want him back when you see how they ridiculed Everton for bringing Kendall in 3 times!!

peasepud 59
How the fuck does the crowd at the Riverside have any influence on the chairman? Christ they're over the moon if another dozen or so bother to turn up. Heard some smoggie on the Legends last night saying he was a season ticket holder but he wasnt going last night because he just couldnt be bothered, "its raining you know Bernaeeee, you're jokinnn arent ye Im not getting wet" plus he went last week and it "wasnt really all that good" Fickle fuckers. When Stevie takes the piss out of all the other clubs attendances they should be compared to that lot first, even when they had European success they couldnt fill the place. AgentAxeman 198
I'm not really all that surprised. tbh he brought in some proper shit players. even worse than some of NUFC's signings over the last couple of years imo!
