No use to you Parky but has anyone tasted the ready made curries sold by M&S? They're literally amongst the best I've tasted, better than 90% of restaurants. The chicken Jalfrezie is brilliant in particular, never had more tender, succulent chicken. They're the only ready meals I buy,and since I can't better them I can't be arsed to do my own any more.

It's probably the one single item I spent most of my money on in Marks and Sparks. Really high quality with the correct stuff in em.

is a book I have used regularly.

The balti sauce is a fanny to make, but batch cook and freeze it.

I like the Chana Gosht balti, and Spinach and Cauliflower balti.

It's made up of recipes from the chefs/proprietors of the best Balti houses in Brum.

I love the one review of it. "The best restaurant-style curry book out there. If you are lardy, you will just love this book." :icon_lol:

I was just about to post the same thing ;)

This is a little belter of a receipe....

The sea bass will be complemented beautifully by the coconut milk. ;)

FYP.

It's a subtle one, not for Madras scoffing neandethals. :icon_lol:

I bet you eat fancy cakes as well, and pay £40 for the coconut to have it's hair cut before you break the shell.

I'm a poet and I don't know it.

The sea bass will be murdered by the coconut. :icon_lol:

I tend to use half of the coconut milk in these recipes for that reason as it tends to overwhelm all. **At long last I can use up those dammned curry leaves... ;)

Kashmiri!

Cheers fella. I knew it was an instantly recognizable name but couldn't remember it at all. A lad is off out with his new bird and he doesn't like anything too spicy so I've given him a few options, just needed it's name

has resurrecting this thread made anyone else incredibly hungry?

Who are these people who don't like anything too 'spicy'?
