Ashley must now decide whether to cut his losses or hold out in the hope that promotion back to the Premier League is gained which would effectively double the paper value. Speaking as a pundit on Sky (see below) well-connected former employee, Dennis Wise, thought that Ashley would hang onto the club for the remainder of the season, so this latest news may not quite signal the end of the disastrous Ashley era.
