Guest Stevie
The fact is it's impossible for certain people to say what they really think somewhere like this, because of the constraints of PC, how people can twist a view, but it's easy to do it in a pub, or in the cab of a taxi. It's a sad state of affairs that the country is like this, but we're in Britain and it's 2009, we're not allowed to discuss things that may offend people. Guest Stevie
Contrary to popular belief you would not meet anyone less racist than me. We had this black kid in my company and honestly when he wasn't there most the people would say "yeah the owld spades off today fink theyah givin free banana's awayy dahn Petticoat Lane or samink" no one would batter an eye lid, but I never joined in cos even though he was a mug, and I didn't see his skin colour, I just saw him as a southern tool who supported Man Utd. In London in social situations, and work situations racism is far far far far more prevalent than it is here, and I'm qualified over 20 years to make that statement. They just think fuck PC down there.

As Fish says, do you have an example of censoring on this forum? Or is it really a case of you not liking people disagreeing with you? Anyway, fuck me, some of the shit you have come up with over the years has been ridiculous (basically your hatred of virtually everyone not from Newcastle) and yet you're still here. Are you suggesting there's more extreme stuff you want to say but won't for fear of banning?

You vote BNP, yet you reckon your the least racist person around? Aye, right. As for whether you've said 'hate' or not, that's just pedantic really. Every regular on here will be used to your bigoted rants. Personally, I don't mind them, because they're often funny and I refuse to believe you're serious. But, the point remains, you can say what the fuck you like here, within reason, and on this board you're given a lot of slack, and you know it. J69 holds opinions that are in the minority and he can post them on here, he might get slated for soem of them but he sticks by his convictions and I certainly have a grudging respect for that. You often speak ill of people who aren't from your accepted area and while not many people seem to agree with your assertions that everybody from X is a cunt, nobody stops you saying so. I often speak ill of people from Liverpool which riles people, but nobody denies me the right to say it. This tired old lie about people with left-leaning politics stopping the right-leaning folk from saying what they want is baffling. The right don't want "Free Speech" they want to declare objectionable opinions without needing to back them up. It reminds me of FOX news.

From Islington to Barnes and from Highgate to Clapham its 'some darkie was on the filmset this morning Tabatha, right lazy spacka he was'. No I don't care if you exist, I just find you mildly amusing to laugh at. Chez the East End has a big racism problem I agree, West Ham fans dear me is all I will say. The difference is the high brow of London, many of them are no more racially tolerant than your Green Street market trader. I know one Asian director of a company in particular, very much like "Raif" from The Apprentice, very articulate, intelligent and elegant, but on several occasions he's racially abused black people. It truly is laughable. I think the upper brow of British society in the south is generally racist, I'd be surprised if we saw an Obama type here in the next 30 years. You don't have to say why you may not want your daughter to date an Asian bloke but what has that got to do with the right to free speech exactly? Especially given the OP. "especially given the opening post" you brought it up first you clown Free speech without the pc brigade.... Which bit of that sentence can you not comprehend. I can see what you mean but you're asking for free speech without the PC brigade, but these people, bizarely in some case, don't consider themselves as being in the PC brigade. Exactly! Its like old boys wanted a drink in men only bars where no women got in. Just a bit of peace and quiet to be men.... I was trying to point out that whenever anybody raises a view that is against the minority held pc view, they are all over it like a rash, as demonstrated here.
