Shearergol 0
What's the official reason for the game taking place in the Stade de Geneve, rather than in England? Have I missed something?

Have I missed something? 54880[/snapback] I'm guessing it's a home game for them, as their players are mainly based in Europe. Like when Australia and Jamaica played at (I think) Loftus Road. ChocChip 0
So that, after the game, when they're sailing peacefully across the Channel and away from the action, we don't fire on them and sink their boat

TheInspiration 1
Maybe it is a home game, with the exception of the lack of experience playing there, and the lack of fans...

Papa Lazaru 0
One of the best friendlies you'll ever see and England finally showing they can play that well against the best teams. Some really impressive football all round, fought back from behind twice and great entertainment, how often do we say that after an England match! And yet agin you are left amazed when you remember Owen plays for us!!!
Matty 0
How much is Owen worth now? I really do get the feeling that one day I'll say "yes, I did see Michael Owen play for Newcastle..."
Papa Lazaru 0
I also loved on Owen's second goal how he was almost elbowing crouch out of the way to ensure he scored!
