I think woor lass would be gone with some of the family. Think of all the stupid things people do when off their face and then throw in a magnum tucked in the wardrobe!!!! Thank god we don't have them. I used to imagine the USA like one of these cop shows with cars screeching and guns going off on every corner however having been 3 times never seen any trouble and find the people lovely, particularly towards the British. One of my friends went to NYC (this was about 20 years ago) and was befriended by a bloke in a bar in Queens. Anyhow, they got pissed and this bloke invited him back to have whisky and kip at his house. So, in his pissed state, he went. Trouble is, when he got there, the bloke pulled out a gun and basically said 'suck my cock or I'm going to blow your head off'. Apparently he sucked and left in tears. Not sure what I would have done in that situation but I'm pretty sure I would have gone back armed and maimed the c*nt at the very least. Mrs Rents was also once held up by a gun on the subway in the Bronx, fortunately for her she had taken advice and had all her valuables in her shoe. I wouldn't worry about your lads berb, I'm sure that they'll stick to the populous areas and would avoid the more nefarious element of the city. Indeed, Fop has firearms, and Fop supposes it might give some idiots an added boost of confidence using one, but generally if you're actually going to kill someone you're probably going to try it whether you have a gun or not, just the gun might make it a bit easier to achieve. That's not to say letting anyone buy a gun is a good idea (or indeed even necessarily letting anyone at all have a gun), just that it is always people in the end. In the end people do kill people, if that weren't the case there'd be nothing but gun murders in the USA. Probably the biggest difference is idiots carrying hand guns, which is pretty much exactly the same thing as idiots carrying knives (and the biggest irony with a knife is the most "dangerous" isn't some 12" rambo thing, or even a samurai sword or something, it's a simple, cheap, readily available 6" kitchen knife). Conversely there's an awful lot of people in this world that shouldn't be trusted to be let out on their own completely unarmed. But having access to a gun isn't likely to make a decent person more likely to murder someone, although if they were going to anyway then yes it probably would make it easier. I had a couple of slug guns when 12 - 13ish natural progress bottles, neighbours windows, neighbours cats n dogs, neighbours. So if I had easy access to a firearm i think I might follow a similar path. now none of the above ever bothered me so woor lass and the daft cunts at work...............................
