Kitman 2207
Apparently he'll be on about 3.5 million £ a year, with a payrise if Newcastle are promoted. I'm afraid that bit sounds like bullshit given the current state of our finances. 3.5 million rupees maybe.
Del Pede 0
Several danish medias are now reporting that Løvenkrands have signed with Newcastle, and he have confirmed, that he is in talks with an english club. Apparently he'll be on about 3.5 million £ a year, with a payrise if Newcastle are promoted. Storied have come out in Ekstra Bladet this morning, and BT this afternoon. So what you're saying is all the good 'work' we did reducing an unsustainable wage bill was so that we could re-sign an out of contract player on a wage that's higher than we were paying Martins? I'm only reporting the reported. Personally I do think that the number is a "bit" to high

The whole wage thing is grossly overestimated though. Only fact from the Løvenkrands camp is, that he is in talks with an english club

TheMoog 0
American midfielder Freddy Adu is moving from Benfica to smaller Portuguese rival Belenenses. Is that right? He was FM-tastic and a half!
The Fish 10972
We're easilly the best club for the big teams to loan to as their young lads don't just get first team experience they get experience of playing in a massive stadium with a big crowd and all the pressures that come with that. And if say we'd loaned them from Chelsea then they could go back and handle the much smaller crowds you get there! In addition to that, they'll playing alongside technically capable footballers in Barton, Smith, Nolan, Saylor, Enrique etc. which would help when they need to make the step up. Some of the positions we need are positions without great amounts of pressure (right back, wingers, squad striker), so they'd be afforded more opportunities to grow in confidence. donaldstott 0
The problem with all this speculation is unfortunately it will be Hughton trying to wheel and deal and he aint no Harry R. Thats not his fault btw, just a measure of the shambles at sjp. And even if he does get the odd phone call off Sir alex offering a few starlets, can you imagine how clear and protracted the chain of command will be to sports direct. Press 1 to find out shop opening times, 2 for accounts, 3 for Mike Ashley.

sweetleftpeg 0
Ribery is nailed on to sign for Man City, what with there new transfer policy of only buying players with facial deformities.
