Painting and editing photos in windows XP

Start > all programs > accessories > paint

 

I seem to have lost paint :lol:

 

Start, Run... MSPAINT

 

Edit: Just out of interest, what do you paint for? If it's just for viewing, resizing and touching up pics then I recommend Googles Picasa 3.0 as a freebee solution. If you're loaded however, or have criminal tendencies, then as others have suggested Photoshop CS3 is the shiznit.

gimp is good. photoshop is excellent.

 

Photoshop pisses on Gimp tbh however I ...I mean I have a friend who was running a cracked CS4 but then had to change their motherboard which totally screwed CS4 making it ask for validation and meant it couldnt even be reinstalled.

 

Of course, should someone know how to get round that then I'll tell my mate and give them a stern lecture on software piracy.
