peasepud 59
I was thinking this yesterday while staring at the monstrosity that is the Sports Direct sign on the Gallowgate and it was bugging me. Whats to stop Ashley giving a long term contract for advertising to SD for peanuts? Could it be that we'll be saddled with that shit for years to come along with something like 30 or 40% of all the walkway banners while he reaps the benefits of having it seen by all and sundry? or is there something in place to stop that kind of thing? Happy Face 29
I was thinking this yesterday while staring at the monstrosity that is the Sports Direct sign on the Gallowgate and it was bugging me. I want the SSN cameras there live the day Ashley goes to witness some local radgies burning their "boycoutt" blankets, pulling down that sign like a Saddam statue and hitting it with their shoes. I'm saying that's right, just an assumption
Scottish Mag 3
I dunno, purely opinion here but I would say you have a point Pud. If he set it up as a sponsorship deal much like Northern Rock then yes it would have to remain and would surely stand, however with a board to answer to at Sports Direct (I think) surely something would need to be set up paying the club for this. Though I am sure if he was clever enough he would set this up as a sponsorship deal for peanuts however I very much doubt going on the his track record over the last couple of years (bring a hideous top that hardly anyone will buy being one of them) that he will have. I do hope hes not looking on here though or you have maybe just flagged up a potential cheap as chips sponsorship deal for them for years to come
