regarding loan deals are -

Free agents can be signed by a club at any time in the season, if they had been released by their previous club before the end of the transfer window.

A club can request to sign a player on emergency basis, ie if several goalkeepers are injured at the same time.

In England, clubs from the Football League Championship to the Football Conference can loan in players from 8 September to 23 November and also from 8 February until 23 March. An existing loan deal can be made permanent at any time outside the transfer window.

loan players can also be called back to their clubs. i personally would like to see us sign a few players on permanent deals before the window suts.

Problem is, who's gonna pick them. Does hughton have an eye for a good player.

Has he got time to look? I would imagine the scouting network (you know - one of the things Ashley was going to sort) is nonexistant and Hughton is manager and coach with in a 46 league game season and the month's up in a fortnight.

Surely if that's the case then any team could in theory could buy a player under the pretence of it being a loan. As long as they made a show of said player being loaned for a week first they could sign anyone on a permanent basis.

So that would be players that were released because they werent good enough for their current club and nobody rushed in to sign during the transfer window? ahhh got ya so theyd be SHIT then?

And other teams are forced to sell us a player we want? Do you seriously think that any team will sell any player outside the window when they cant replace them? Oh yeah they will sorry, when the player is SHIT.

Already covered by Dr Gloom, so any player thats actually any good will likely be recalled at some stage, if they're not then they're probably SHIT.

Threads like ''we are going to piss the championship LOL!1'' are just embarrassing.

aye, when we're 9 points clear at end of September, I will expect an apology ok ?

And at the same time as you're getting that apology I'll be enjoying a wild threesome with Angelina Jolie and Felicity Kendal having met the pair while they were out shopping in Walker Netto.

We can all dream cant we? at least mine has a slim chance of becoming reality.
