Or it could be that they're 'mates' and he's just there to take the steam off Ashley in general and there actually is no offer...

 

Anyway, we're playing pretty well, leading 1-0 at home. :razz:

I think we've looked very good, after all we are playing arguably one of the strongest sides in the league again, other than put 3 or 4 goals in we've done about everything we could expect

Think Carroll's done well today... done what hes supposed to, get his head onto things that are punted up, hes laid balls off and created a good chance for ameobi, who coulda scored if he wasn't crap and quicker.

 

Exactly, I'd like to see a quicker striker play off Carroll tbh.

It's typical isn't it, you slate his sorry ass and he scores... twice. Ah well, I can't knock him today after this, still think we'd be better off with a faster striker playing off Carroll though :blink:

Precisely... 4 points against the likes of West Brom and Reading is very positive. Mind you, didn't we start last season with a 1-1 draw away from home followed by a 1-0 home win? :blink:
