Happy Face 29 Posted December 15, 2009 Share Posted December 15, 2009 Recently finished reading 'Homicide' by David Simon and in the notes at the end he explains that he didn't have much input into the TV series that was made from it, even (stupidly he now concedes) turning down the chance to be the major writer on the show. Apparently it was fictionalised a lot for TV. Unlike 'The Corner'. Couldn't help but be a bit disappointed by S5, but tbf that was really just when holding it up against the rest of the series. It was still streets ahead of most TV.
