Through my job I have managed to set up a Fantasy Football game in conjunction with Cancer Research UK and Men's Health. In the light of the recent sad news I thought you might be interested in signing up, it is free to enter and for every persons that does, Men's Health will pay £10 to Cancer Research UK on your behalf.

Have a quick read of my blog, at the bottom you will find the link you need to click on to ensure that a donation is registered on your behalf. As much as it pained me, I also passed the message on via a number of Ipswich Town forums and we have had over 75 people sign up so far - so £750+ to Cancer Research.

The game is pretty simple and if you are really not that into it, please register anyway - there is a lucky dip button to save you the trouble of picking a team. Once you are in you can just leave it if you want!

£10 donation on your behalf to Cancer Research UK - Just sign up to their Fantasy Football league

I will keep an eye on the forum so if you have any questions please ask.

At the request of the guys on nufc-forum I have set up a Toon fans league for you:

League name = In memory of Sir Bobby

League PIN: 1007

He's a Villa fan. Try working it out :nufc:

Lost me, I must be having a slow day... a weird looking bloke peeping through a privet hedge? :(

The lad who posted it is a Villa wum. I assume it's an allusion to our position now, i.e. on the outside looking in. School holidays, eh? Don't you just love them?

Hi all,

With only 5 days to go until the Premier League seasons starts I wanted to give you an update on our current progress and also ask for your help for one final push to get the figures up.

As of close of play yesterday we have an impressive 203 sign ups, which is £2030 to Cancer Research UK.

You can still sign up, if you have friends who might be interested please pass them the correct link from my original post and give them a nudge

Thanks again.

Hello all.....me again, sorry.

This will be one of my final updates, with the campaign closing at the end of the day tomorrow I wanted to firstly massively thank you for your efforts in signing up and also spreading the word. Up to and including the end of the day yesterday we had a MASSIVE 333 registration, over £3300 raised for CRUK not to mention 3 leagues full of footy fans coming together for this seasons Fantasy Football.

Thanks again and once more again for all of your tremendous work, if you know ANYONE at all who might still be interested, please pass the orginal link around to them and ask them to sign up before Saturday, it would be amazing if we could hit £4000 in what has been less than 2 weeks.
