AmericanMag 0
Been depressed all day... Just went through the pictures someone had posted on facebook of the people at SJP and was impressed (and touched) by the amount of shirts from other clubs that were left at the ground (Rangers, Boro, Etc.)... Going to walk the dog now...

Guest Stevie
I found out this news about 930am in the office in London yesterday, and was shellshocked. A gentleman in every sense of the word, without question the elder statesman of English football, maybe even world football. Our thoughts are with you Elsie. Just watched it now and it just goes to confirm everything I thought about Sir Bobby, a true Geordie Gentleman and Legend. Lovely piece of work by whoever prodcued the site banner by the way, a very tasteful tribute to the great man.

Andrew Flintoff 0
Just found out as well he gave a trial when he was at Ipswich to wor lasses' dad when he was 14, but her granda wouldn't let him go and told him he had to work on the shipyards in Shields. Ouch. My old man had a trial there when he was younger. He was supposed to wait for a taxi to pick him up from the train station but he made his own way to Portman Road. When he got there, Bobby gave him the biggest mouthful he'd ever been given, shouted and balled at him for putting himself in danger making his own way there so young. Five minutes later, with me da feeling very sorry for himself and a bit tearful, Bobby came back, put his arm round him and told him he'd shouted at him for his own good, and that a lesson learnt young is a lesson never repeated. Message came through loud and clear - Bobby 1-0 Me Old Man...

Tooj 17
I was talking to wor lass earlier and said I was going to make my own tribute using In My Life by The Beatles. Then I watched the extended Look North special and they had already decided to do the same themselves. So instead of making one too, I just cropped theirs a little and changed the lighting on it ever so slightly. Do enjoy as with that song being one of my favourites it certainly got me choked.
