Serious bit of backtracking there :aye:

:finger: Shut yer face, you. It's not like I'm known for my considered policy towards articles about pikeys in The Sun. It was either take the piss here or play Worms all day.

If only we could combine the two.

Play with piss? :nufc:

Okay, why not? I just have a few loose ends to tie up.

No surprise they're from Luton. Being from Bedford, I know what a fucking shithole that place is. I suppose shooting kids out your twat is the only thing you can do there other than shoot up. Looking at the parents, there are a load of ugly kids seeking new homes in Bedfordshire. I reckon the new kids' name will be Stella if a girl or Tyler-Wayne if a boy. And if it is a hermaphradite, Methadonius. I wonder how may of this family will be on Jeremy Kyle in the next 16 years?

Thread title is oxymoronic surely if she's pregnant?? :nufc:

I'm guessing childbirth is pretty bloody, and her screams could surely be likened to the wailing of damned souls? :finger:

so no, Craig, no I wouldn't say it was.

:aye:

My point missed entirely it seems...

No doubt.

And what are we trying to convey/ communicate in these pictures here? "Oh, we're so downtrodden because the government keeps taking our kids away on the basis of us being unfit parents." FFS.

I don't know how it is over there, but here, you have to be a total fucking dipshit to get your kids actually taken away from you.

Wouldn't paid sterilisation encourage law-suits later on, whereby the claimant states they weren't fully aware of the facts when they agreed to it and that circumstances change and it's impossible for them to have forseen that they were going to break off with the on-off boyfriend who didn't want kids and get with the man of their dreams who does?

I say that anybody who has more than two kids and is on benefits, has to buy their shop from a WHO dictated shopping list, or even better, have their benefits "paid" by way of food parcels, books, musical instruments and sports equipment.

God, could the last bit by any more middle class? :nufc: The stigma would be great as well, "Look at him in his hi-tec trainers". Worse than nasher geps.

:aye: I clearly meant Footballs or Cricket equipment you pedantic tossbag.

You know I'm right, by the way.

Erm, what's the difference? Do you not need footwear to do sports as well like? Anyway, I think it's a terrible idea. Patronising as fuck as well. I don't think policy should be made on the basis of morons like the ones in the OP either.

I agree you can't knee jerk because of one extreme case but I do think there is an issue with people having kids just to get more benefits and a nicer council house etc. Unfortunately these people tend to make the worst parents too, obviously, which is the real problem.

Anyhow, do these immigrant families (who are allegedly having the most kids) claim dole and spend it on fags, booze, and Sky TV? Serious question, I've no idea.

I think you have to make the benefits system as fair as possible then you have to trust people to spend the money wisely rather than deciding for them. No system is ever going to be perfect, obviously.

Especially a breeder centric one (although there's much more than that wrong with the UK system).

It's madness really they want to put wind turbines absolutely everywhere (because that will fix everything :finger:), yet won't do the single best thing to reduce all environmental issues - reduce population.

You said anyone with more than two kids.

Aye, but you said anyone on benefits.

People with one kid on benefits wouldn't endure the shame of it all, neither would couples on benefits without kids, nor people on disability benefits, neither would, neither would, neither would... etc. etc.

But someone with 3 kids who loses their job would but a couple with 2 kids who've never attempted to work in their lives wouldn't? Excellent. I can see you've thought this through

:nufc:

Actually Alex that would be the point, the couple with 2 kid may never have worked in their life, but they would be reducing the population by doing so (2.1 is the average needed for a stable Western population).

The system has tended to encourage you to have more kids if you don't want to work, or maybe work but no one knows it , to be better off (although they have change this a bit in recent year).

From an economic or environmental view that would be better - it may not be "fair" but then the current system isn't anything like "fair" either. :aye:

They don't and your cynicism does you a disservice.

I agree 100% with your latter point however, but what do you propose would be an acceptable way, in this country, to implement this?

I've experienced the US system and think we probably have much better social services, although still inadequte. You still have to be a dipshit though.

Do you know how many areas are now earmarked for Wind turbine development?

Admittedly this is largely because the grants for building them are so profitable -amazingly building them gives a company more profit than they could get in a decade of running them - Banks Development for one is moving massively into this area as it's basically an "eco-gold rush". :finger:

There's now vast areas under consideration for large numbers of turbines (often in open unspoilt country).

Unfortunately off-shore turbines aren't as attractive as the building and running costs are higher and the grants aren't as substantial (even though off-shore turbines produce more and more constant energy).

As for population there is no "acceptable" way there never is, that is why we'll have 70 million here soon (with 70% of that 10 million increase driven by immigration) and why we'll have another 3 billion (33.3%) people on the planet by 2050.

Which basically makes a complete mockery of anything "green" or "eco". :nufc: (even more than a Ford Econetic )

Do you think that mitigation for climate change is folly, fop?

Should we even strive for a more sustainable world in light of population growth or should we just all fend for ourselves and totally fuck the planet?

You are very good at highlighting how fucked everything is fop. What are you doing with your life apart from that?

Building "eco/green" sandcastles against the incoming Tsunami of population growth is frankly pointless in the context of "saving the world" or stopping human CO2 emissions.

That's not to say it is utterly worthless (as the upcoming population densities will raise their own issues), but it's certainly not going to have the claimed effect (even if everything is done to the most optimistic forecasts - and it is not being).

Just look at this graph then add another 33% (to 9 billion by 2050 to it):

550px-Population_curve.svg.png

Until people understand that it's just PR and pissing in the wind.

"Sustainable" being one of the biggest red herrings of all, for the UK to be anything approaching "sustainable" we'd firstly have to be down to at least the 30,000,000 population level, but even that probably isn't "sustainable" in a Western standard of living context.

People are, generally speaking, too selfish to really do anything about it until it's either too late or things reach such a point that people's own lives are directly effected. I suppose it's a basic animal instinct to look after yourself and your own before worrying about others but aren't we supposed to have evolved beyond that? I don't really think we have fwiw. I don't claim to be doing much about myself btw but when I think about things like having a child or two it really makes me wonder what sort of future world I'd be putting them into. The way things are going just isn't remotely sustainable.

Mass populatoin cull is only going to come about through conspiracy. Maybe it is happening, who knows? But it won't happen through overt government policy. The intelligent people are reducing their breeding, the mongs thunk them out like a Pez dispenser. It is indeed tragic.

But, at least lots of people are trying to do something; affect change, educate and enthuse, rather than sniping, with all their wasted intellect, from the dugouts. Is it not better to dedicate yourself to making a change, even if that proves to be folly, than just give up and denigrate everything? What about cancer, what about the raping of the oceans, what about decimating the rainforests, what about poverty, racism, intolerance, bigotry, prejudice, what about all the many things which are challenging to resolve? Give up on all of them as we are pretty much all fucked anyway? Let the greedy have their way and to hell with the whole fucking planet?

There was someone on the radio a few weeks ago that had moved "off grid" to live in rural South Wales in an old farmhouse, making a big deal about only having a generator (still used fossil fuels of course :nufc: ) and such.

How many kids? 2 (or maybe 3) and another on the way.

So basically for all that they thought they were doing (and being rather like that "Smug" episode of South Park for it) they weren't actually doing anything much.

It's the same with the oceans and rain forests, the tragedy of the commons means that basically so long as human population (and therefore demand) increases they will continue to be destroyed.

Fish stocks are a perfect example of this - we completely understand how and why they collapse and indeed that they may never recover from a collapse. There is NO mystery to this at all - yet still all fish stocks pretty much everywhere are heading for collapse [those that haven't already collapsed anyway], despite repeated and dire warnings for more than 20 years now.

Things could be done about it (and human population), but they won't be done, that's just how it is.
