I suppose it depends on what you want out of a film? i see enough misery in my day to day life that I want a bit of escapism when Im watching a film. Of course i appreciate a good serious film, Hotel Rwanda, Crash etc. But id never pay £7 to see it at the cinema

I fully understand that you might just want a bit of mindless fun but that's not what I was taking issue with, was it?
