Ive been working in an office environment since I left school.

I work in a consultant engineers and have done since I have left school. Is it just my profession but are all office workers fucking bone idle wankers?

Every morning we have a crate of fresh milk delivered, I or the main director are the only ones who bring it in, the rest walk past it and leave it.

The Kitchen is ALWAYS a fucking tip, people open new milk when one is already open etc etc

FUCKING ANIMALS :icon_lol:

Crikey. You need to relax.

Its ok Ive had my 5 weetabix now I am chilled :icon_lol:

:icon_lol: Having complained about the state of the kitchen, no doubt you'll now go and pebble dash the toilet and wipe your arse up and down the wall for good measure. Then walk out without flushing (or washing your hands, to infuriate Gemmill) :icon_lol:

hit the nail on right the head there!! i've had many jobs (office, factory, manual labour etc...) and without a doubt, office work is by far the easiest i've ever done. lack of challenge = bone idle wankers.

of course you dont see it that way at the time but i defy anyone to go from an office enviroment to working on Nissans line and then tell me the office work is harder!!

General Office work is a doddle. It breeds laziness and a willingness to settle. People find themselves a level where they can afford a "comfortable" life and settle. That laziness and complacency seeps into the rest of their lives, meaning they take less care of their appearance and the like. A girl I went to school with took a job with the Civil Service at Long Benton to tide her over until she found something better. She's now a D band earning an all right-ish wage but has completely given up looking for anything better, she's piling on the pounds and is acting like a 40 yr old instead of the 27 yr old she actually is.

I actually agree with you though... I work with some people who have been here for 30 years and are lazy as fuck.

But I guess if these people are happy with that then fair enough, but chances are that deep down they'll probably wish they challeneged themselves more.

agreed, however the mental challenge at nissan was just keeping yourself sane. you try doing some mindless repetitive task 400+ times in the middle of the night. at least you find your work interesting which is not usually the case for your 'average' office worker, therefore, no challenge = bone idle wanker!!

as i said earlier, i've worked in an office enviroment (for approx 6yrs) and was not challenged mentally or physically in the slightest way for the vast majority of that time.

which i guess by definition made me a bone idle wanker!! :icon_lol:

Your company needs to hire some cleaners.

Why would you pay someone a decent office wage to mop up the kitchen?

You and the main director want to concentrate on what you're being paid for. :icon_lol:
