Kid Dynamite 7327
Anyone made one before? I made one yesterday obviously and only reported what was stolen. Everyone Ive spoken to since has told me im mad though for not adding a couple of extras in I like to think im a pretty trustworthy bloke though and in my eyes id be just as bad as that robbing bastard if i claimed for hundreds more then was actually gone. Although I think im getting new for old off the insurance company so when they ask me which 360 games were stolen I might accidentaly name a couple of newer games i fancy instead of the old ones i was sick of playing! Good for you for being honest, it's people who bump insurance claims that raise premiums for everyone. Getting some newer games seems reasonable mind given the circumstances! I would say excess covering was fairly standard fraud by the vast majority of people.

It depends on the extent though, claiming for a few games you didn't have is one thing, claiming your laptop was nicked when it wasn't is just taking the piss imo. Regardless, it doesn't change my point about premiums.

Kid Dynamite 7327
Technically yes. But in the eyes of the insurance company I had a £40 game stolen and they are replacing it with a £40 game. They arent losing out

I think ... maybe, Fop's just being ornery.

Indeed, but personally I don't see an awful lot wrong with throwing in a camera, jewellery that covers the cost of an excess.

I've done that once like. I lived in a house with the living room straight off the street. I was once so pissed I opened the front door and fell onto the sofa. I woke up several hours later with the front door wide open and keys in the door. Lucky I lived on a quiet street.
Kid Dynamite 7327
I went to Blyth last week with my Dad to seem my Grandad. When we got there my dad got out of the car, left the keys in the ignition and the engine still running and wandered off I thought he was joking at first! I'm meaning I don't agree with fabricating a cartier tiara, but if he says he has a £40 game, the insurance company won't care if it's COD5, Crash Bandicoot or Catz.
