Sentimental stuff

Y'know, it's funny, I've read through the posts in this thread a couple of times thinking I didn't have anything to add to it, but it turns out I do.

I got an email from Eurosport reminding my $10 off coupon was about to expire, so I set about looking for it. First place I looked was my wallet.

While digging around, I found two sentimental things- the first is a tin coin I made in one of these arcade type machines where you rotate this pointer thing to designate a letter, then you pull the handle and it strikes the coin. It says, "Breea & Clint 2000"- made it right after we got married and it's been in my wallet ever since.

The other is a grocery list my grandmother gave me. It was the last one I ever filled for her. She died in February of 2002.

Nice one, Cid (don't mind if I call you Cid, do ya ??)

You have reminded me of summat I carry in my wallet. I have letter my daughter wrote to Santa when she was about four years old. I've got it in the sleeve with the clear plastic so I see it whenever I open it (yeah, yeah, which isn't often. Twats!). She's now 23 and I've switched it into every new wallet I get. I'd be gutted if I ever lost it.

Course I don't mind- my nickname, innit?

That's a good one too, mate!

My Mrs is always trying to chuck some of my random shit out, more so that she can make room for the mountains of shit she possesses. Shockingly, playing the 'but it belonged to my dad' card seems to fend her off.
