Why did they almost always play with this kit when there was no need for change? i.e. the other teams kit never clashed with black and white? All those away wins would've looked better in our proper colours.

How often has the 3rd been worn?

I reckon we've only worn our home shirt on a couple of occasions, Watford away and Barnsley. Watford would have clashed with the yellow. Maybe Ashley was maximising its exposure so it would sell or maybe the club read all the negative responses to the shirt and decided to rub our noses in it for shouting nasty stuff to mikey by wearing it whenever they could. I reckon the 3rd kit was worn three times? Dundee Utd, Blackpool and Forest.

Certainly makes a change though from the usual away kits. Most season they seem to only get a a handful of outings this seasons. Wearing the home one even in games where the away would clearly be better. Complete reverse situation this season.
