He's well within his rights to want to leave. He has no emotional attachment to the club and he's the only player who actually played like he wanted to keep us up. He did his part but the rest of the squad were a let down.

This. Its bad enough that we will lose our few good players if things aren't sorted out soon, but the typical NUFC way is to give them away for joke fees as we did with Given.

 

There is likely to be more than 1 team in for Bassong, people in the game seem generally agreed he's good and in demand and he is on very low wages here so not draining masses of money from us so we don't technically have to sell. So if he has to go then i want to see some serious money coming in for him, but i fear that he and other good players will go for ludicrous amounts.
