Dr Kenneth Noisewater 0
A shirt and 'Payroll' on dvd. It's a pre-Get Carter crime movie shot in the toon in the early sixties. He'll get a nostalgia kick out of it hopefully.
Toonraider 0
My dad died back in August after a particulary distressing 6 months. (for him and us) Anyhow a couple of days ago I went in a card shop to choose a card for my father in law, instantly saw one that would have been spot on for my dear ole Dad, so had to get out quick as I was welling up Felt abit of a prat really, but just couldnt stay in there. I hate it, I buy a present and a card for both parents, and then again as their birthdays are really close to mother's and father's days. Anyway, I got my pa a bar of soap that says arseface on it so far.

WubbleUC 0
Cheers for the heads up. Actually, that might have only even been slightly funny if the telly wasnt telling me at the minute that everything advertised was 'perfect for fathers day.' Aye, I might buy mine the 'Best of the Faces' album that is currently 'Perfect for Fathers Day' and see what household item he uses to attack me with. Either that or The Very Best of Air Guitar MCMXCIX. Edited June 18, 2009 by WubbleUC

If my old man was such a dullard that he liked bog-standard guitar music from 35 years ago but hadn't actually bothered to go out and buy any of it in the intervening three and a half decades, I'd probably attack him with a blunt instrument myself. There's a Hawkin's Bazaar shop in town; I got it from there. They do an arseface towel as well, but the soap was cheaper.

A long way from over it yet (there was a post mortem and then an inquest in December too so it went on and on. Yeah I wasnt embarrassed about getting upset just not one for public dislays of emotion. Finally got father in law a card in Tescos Shoved one in quick with the shopping so I didnt have to ponder much! What to get him is a nightmare, he is diabetic so no chocs. He's had several strokes so really doesnt do much and he's got everything. I rekon the best thing we can do is to take him out for a drive, if we can get him in the car!
