Tooj 17
These fashionable 'gardens' with the chippings, trendy pot plants, stones and decking look fine but to me they lack charm and individuality, I find them cold. I prefer a 'real' cottage style garden. I always had you down as a fan cottaging.

Christmas Tree 4920
Anyone know anything about re-turfing? Only that there are some pretty decent "how to" videos on the net about it that I found in the usual places when I was considering it a few months back. Basically it's 95% ground prep and 5% laying. If you can, reseeding a new lawn is a better idea and will give a much better, stronger finish.
