I think a lot of the fixtures are computer generated anyway but I can't imagine why Sky Sports would need the exact ones this early in the game

 

Also the Graphics displayed are the same format as last year and it's a simple enough process to do a dry run in the studio without having to broadcast it.

I've already been told by a lad at work we're playing away first game of the season because the Mackems have specifically asked to play away for their first game of the year as their pitch needs relaying. Obviously by the time their first game comes around it'll be our second so we'll be at home.

 

I was also told we're playing Blackpool away midweek sometime during August/September (exact date was given but I can't remember) so the chances of us going down and smashing the town up is smaller

I think with it being 46 games it's pretty much every Saturday and Tuesday you end up playing.

 

Unless TV messes things up of course.

11th August would be fine for me. But sending thousands of Geordies to Blackpool in prime holiday season seems bizarre!

Definitely not true. Blackpool's capacity is 7,800 till November when it's increased to 13,000. They'll request us later guaranteed, you should keep off RTG. "A bloke I know said..." who someone off RTG?
