Mutual Termination

Forgive my stupidity if this is a daft Idea but with some of the high earners in our squad who need moving on Geremi, Cacapa, Xisco etc could mutual termination on their contracts be offered? Or can that only be offered at certain times within their contracts (i.e. the last 6 months)

 

It's a different matter all together should they want to accept mutual termination however. Just really wondering if it's a viable option at the moment

Mutual termination can be agreed at any time, however without another club lined up the player would want compensation.

 

 

Our best option is to find a new club and offload for free, loan out (to cover their wage & agree a higher purchase price) or sell.

Yeah, all of our players would fit into one of them categories.

 

Cacapa is out-of-contract, so isn't our problem.

In the bleacher report they give Colo as an example. Apparently we've only made 2 payments on the 10m - so still owe £5m plus his loyalty bonus. In other words we have to sell him for £8m just to break even.
