Newcastle managing director Llambias is an isolated figure on Tyneside during owner Mike Ashley's attempt to sell the club. But Llambias saw things get worse when his BMW was taken back by dealers, who said the deal on the car expired. "It was embarrassing," said a club insider. "He had no idea his car had been taken back. He was fuming." Meanwhile, the club have slashed prices of executive boxes by up to 66 per cent in a desperate bid to keep their wealthiest fans at St James' Park.
