Howay 12496
I can't believe people vote for them, the fact that the leader's a holocaust denier should be enough to stop people voting for them never mind looking at their manifesto .Btw does anyone know the extent of any deportation plans they have? Anyone that even considers voting BNP is a moron, without exception. Agreed. I still wonder about the deportation policies to see how truly crazy they are for instance my great grandparents are Italian does this mean I'd be packed off to Italy

Fop 1
Generally speaking 90% of politicians are inept, self-centered and lazy careerists with a distinct lack of vision and will power. They are tied into a system that is rotten to the core and pays lip service to the various grand issues of the day come election time, after which it is back to business as usual ie faked expenses, long holidays, poor voting records, 3 cars. taxi expenses, 2 homes and a holiday home and a flagrant disregard for the people who vote for them. Although more generally basically the BNP will inevitably continue to rise until the "white working class" is no longer taken for granted by the political elite. Interestingly in the last big council elections (no idea about these ones yet) in many utterly safe Labour seats the BNP ran them close (often getting 2nd place with ~80% of the votes of the winning Labour candidates). The BNP clean up their act a bit more, or Labour piss off their traditional voters a bit more and there could be a tipping point like the Liberal/Labour swap of the early 20th century. ChezGiven 0
Working for a pharmaceutical company I'm sure you don't believe that the brightest people make the most money. You seem to think that throwing more money in the mix is the solution to everything and suddenly you'll have vast improvement in quality. I disagree. My whole point was slightly tongue in cheek too in reference to politicians pay. However, that the highest qualified are, in general, paid the most at the population level is such a statistical formality that the basic premise of money incentivising the best talent is a given. As an economist, i rarely cross anyone that needs the data to prove such fundamental insights. I also think if you want to use someone's profession to make points in a debate you should also tell people what you do for a living. If you're not prepared to say it yourself, you shouldnt use it. sniffer 0
You were the one who announced that you work for Pfizer. Nobody forced it out of you. And I wasn't aware you made the rules. I do agree that money is a huge incentive. I don't agree that the best people necessarily make the most money although many will think that's true. Look at GM. Until they went south, I'm sure evereybody thought you had to be incredibly smart to be CEO. Clearly that is not the case. And I'm sure others can look at their own jobs to see examples..I know I can.

Parky announced it, not me. In the Privatise the NHS thread. I only expressed my opinion on the matter about our professions, didnt say you had to. Still think if you use it in a debate, you should say yourself.

They've got a policy of 'voluntary' (read forced) resettlement for all immigrants but are willing to take refugees that are white western Europeans but only due to war or persecution. I'd imagine you'd be fine but they'd probably force your grandparents out unless they can prove they're going to be strung up the minute they step off the plane. The Fish 10965
I can only hope that when the extremists get a seat or two it acts a wake-up call to the major parties. I am terrfied that people with these abhorrent views are humoured. To those that say that the major aprties are corrupt, that's wy they're going to vote BNP I say this. Do you truly believe that a bunch of knuckle dragging, race-hating, wife-beating ignorant cunts like the BNP are going to be anything less than kids in a sweet shop if they get power? They're hardly shining beacons of moral fortitude at the moment now are they? Scum and should be sent back from whence they came.
NJS 4411
I found Griffin's recent stuff about wanting to return Britain to the racial make-up as it was in 1948 to be particularly fucking evil - especially naming a time when facism had just been defeated at the cost of millions of lives. I'm sick of the shit that people are frightened to talk about immigration - I'm not - but I do know people who in any way are taken in by this shit aren't "concerned citizens" or "true patriots" - they're racist bastards - and should have the honesty to admit it. No it doesn't - I happen to think a limited points system as intoduced is correct and I'd also stop familial immigration from arranged mariages from South Asia - but supporting Griffin's mob most certainly does make anyone a racist. You can be concerned about it, that's fair enough and I understand why some people are but Griffin and pals don't have the answer. The BNP's policies with regards to immigration and race would have a catastrophic effect on this country both economically and socially. Services like the NHS would collapse overnight. sniffer 0
An increasing number are recognizing that continued blind support of the major parties, especially labour, who do nothing to stem the influx of immigrants is no longer an option. This is a major concern among the population and I guarrantee if a referendum was held the vast majority would want change implemented now. If the major parties are not willing to carry out the wishes of the majority what's the alternative? IMO, we'd also have the death penalty back if there was a binding referendum. Kid Dynamite 7170
Half of Germany backed the Nazis. They must all have been right too. Leazes youre a sad old man if you believe their views. Search the forum for the BNP Wives video piss off. You're a deluded PC correct arsehole if you can't see what is happening to the country Im not PC correct, I just know what the BNP is really about I wonder if you would feel the same if you were born Black British and he wanted your parents deported? What would happen if Nick Griffin got in power? I wonder what his policies on the NHS look like? 40% of the workforce would be deported if he had his way. What about penal reform? A large number of his supporters have been in jail. Would racist crimes be overlooked? How would he cope with the current North Korea situation? I can just see him sitting at a desk with the world leaders talking over the finer points of European foreign policy Get a fucking grip man
Kid Dynamite 7170
People vote for the BNP because they're too ignorant to realise what they really stand for. Even Nick Griffin has admitted their real policies are masked by empty rhetoric about caring for the working man etc. because they wouldn't get in if they actually told the truth. A quick read through their last general election manifesto will tell you the type of nutters we're dealing with. They want to move parliament to the Isle of Man, 'invite' Eire back to the union by positioning tens of thousands of heavily armed soldiers on the border and impose ridiculous measures on the press while bleating on about 'freedom of speech'. It's actually beyond parody Unfortunately, not only are they madcap but they're bloody nasty too. When senior members deny the holocaust, equate rape to force feeding a woman chocolate and believe eugenics is a fantastic idea it does become much harder to laugh at them. They have some wank policies that much is true, but they have good ones too. Best policy I've ever heard of in any political organisation on earth, is them banning yank telly off our screens. UKIP are the way forward most of the good bits of the BNP without the bad. Typical politician, full of shit
Kid Dynamite 7170
Bunch of cunts whichever way you dress it up and as more level and sensible people vote for them, what do they evolve into ? Worth thinking about. as more and more level and sensible people are looking for parties other than the tories and labour, UKIP for another possibility. Its the pandering and the cunts of the PC brigade which is bringing this on. Actual picture from a small BNP rally

If you want good people to be politicians you need to pay them enough to stop them being corporate careerists. The best people are in industry because of basic economic rational choices. If politicians were paid more, like in every other industry, you'd see the quality of people rise. This is about as close as you can get to an economic law. Arm the people. Sniffs baby don't you realise that mass immigration IS part of the plan. Expectations after the post war boom were too high, white workers had to be taught a lesson and remember their place or they would be replaced. Clear enough for you? Immigration isn't really the issue, bargaining power IS. Edited June 6, 2009 by Park Life
