Trying to install the drivers for a HP printer/cpier/scanner. When the disc is inserted and the process is half way through, a message comes up 'Fatal Error 1327. Invalid Drive G:'

Anyone know owt about this? We have been using this printer for a while now on other pc's but want to use it elsewhere.

Do you have any external drive attached or any network drives assigned to the letter G?

Or is the drive which has the operation system on anything else bar c?

You may have to go through the registry and change the locations that are going to G to C.

Is G: your CD drive?

Easiest solution would be to download the file from the HP website and see if you can install it that way.

A good idea anyway, packaged drivers can be months (or even years) behind.
