Tom 14011
There will probably be a lot of downloads anyway, for a number of things. Such as a new ultimate team. Downloading squad updates is pretty cool like.
Ayatollah Hermione 13760
Maybe the thinking is that they can get in early and punters can download the transfers when the window shuts? People that, for whatever reason, aren't connected to the internet with their console might be a bit pissed off if that were the case.
Tom 14011
A very cheap Ethernet cable will fix that surely?

Tom 14011
If they don't have an internet connection in 2009, yet have the money for a PS3 and a new game they deserve to be left in the dark.

Tom 14011
Most Wireless is installed free anyway man! I think ours is 8 meg, with a wireless connection for £15 p/m. PS3 can do wireless or Ethernet and you could just take the PS3 to the connection if the cable it short. Basically the majority of FIFA's demographic will have internet connection and I imagine mostly wireless too.

Ayatollah Hermione 13760
My mate just will not get the internet on his PS3. I have no idea why, he's just totally resistant to it. The exception rather than the majority, I'd imagine.

Sir Bob Almighty! 0
Maybe its the demo copy thats released n August? that sounds about right. It would be ridiculous to bring it out before the transfer window shuts, i know a few people without an internet connection and others who cant afford the xbox live gold service, it would not be fair.
