Barney 0
I'm not sure about Silva. Really lightweight. Didn't Real have some Argie defender signing for them soon?
Isegrim 9936
I don't know. Not unexpectedly, Platini hasn't opened his piehole. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11827_5412085,00.html
Kid Dynamite 7210
Salary Cap in a couple of years? Needs to be done imo but it will only result in players getting bungs or massive image rights etc.

Either way there'd by ways around it like you say. Btw, I read Madrid are £500m in debt too.
Matty 0
Salary Cap in a couple of years? The have a salary cap in rugby, and apparently what they do is sign the best players as player/coach so that they can increase their wage as they claim they have 2 jobs at the club. I'm sure Ronaldo could be Real's diving coach.
Scottish Mag 3
Real Madrid president Florentino Perez feels that "two more signings" will complete his overhaul at the Bernabeu. The Real supremo has already landed Kaka, Cristiano Ronaldo and Raul Albiol as part of his bid to rebuild the 'Galacticos' era. Lyon striker Karim Benzema's move to the Spanish giants is on the brink of being completed, with the club already including the Frenchman on their website's squad list. Liverpool midfielder Xabi Alonso continues to be linked with a switch to Real, and Perez has stated that he has "until August" to acquire his services. Perez told Cuatro: "I think that with two more signings we will have renewed the squad." However, Perez appears defeated in his bid to land Bayern Munich star Franck Ribery, with the Bundesilga club adamant the France international will not be sold. He added: "That is the reality right now."

Tooj 17
It's a disgrace that he is allowed have Ronaldo 9 on his shirt. What a cunt he'll never be as good as the Ronaldo was in his prime.
Tom 14021
Yeah good point. It pisses me off when people say he is, it's a case of media hype creating revisionism in football.

Thought he was going be getting 17 like he seems to wear for the national team sometimes. But 9 is a little blasphemous. He going to be playing up front or what? And what number will Benzema ge getting I wonder
Tooj 17
Arsenal have been linked with Van Der Vaart. Not the battler they need in midfield but if you can get a player like that he would be perfect for Arsenal.
