ewerk 31201
Do you get the feeling that all this is a figment of Tony Adman's slightly deranged mind ? However, Jansen said: "Sure, I worked with Tony in Holland when he was coaching there and I know him well. We have a good relationship. "But it's a little while since we have been in contact. And I have never suggested anything about Celtic."
Sonatine 11542
Always seems to have an otherworldly air about him whenever he's being interviewed, either on the happy pills or back on the booze.
acrossthepond 878
Just started shooting his mouth off again today about how Wenger doesn't have the full backing of the Arsenal board. Someone wants to put a muzzle on the old tramp.

Billy Castell 0
I've been thinking about the fates of the last good England side, the one that would have won Euro 96 if it wasn't for those pesky penalties: David Seaman...........Not much really Tony Adams...............Rubbish football manager Gareth Southgate......Rubbish football manager Stuart Pearce.............Rubbish football manager Steve McManaman.....Rubbish pundit David Platt.................Rubbish pundit and rubbish manager Paul Ince....................Very rubbish football manager Paul Gascoigne...........Mental Darren Anderton.........Retired in December, not done much since Alan Shearer .............Rubbish pundit, unproven but on current record rubbish football manger, Teddy Sherringham....Rubbish pundit Anyone spot a pattern? Particularly the defenders. What is astonishing is that of that side, Darren Anderton was the last to retire. Who'd have thought that? Does make you wonder what has gone on with that generation of England players. Tony Adams seems to be somewhere else whenever he is interviewed, like Sonatine says. Kind of reminds me when I saw Michael Barrymore after he appeared on that Big Brother. So if you are round Tony's house, keep an eye on the chairs and stay away from the pool, just in case. Sonatine 11542
As my mate said, he's got a touch of the "Hoddles" about him, few too many trips to the faith healer i reckon.

JJ 0
I'm in London right now so this is the first football news I've seen all day, and fuck me all I can say is this is akin to Newcastle appointing John Sitton (put his name in youtube if you don't know who he is). Tony Adams I read somewhere their more level headed fans were expecting Rijkaard, van Basten or Magath to take it. It's always funny watching English football fans arguing about who the most deluded fans in the Premier League are. None of them can hold a candle to Celtic supporters and how great a club they think they really are. They may get a shitload of fans through the gate, but that doesn't mean anyone outside of Scotland gives a flying fuck about them. To be fair you could say the same about all Scottish clubs Harsh but fair. No-one is interested anymore, and if Setanta do go bust after their recent troubles, then Scottish football is absolutely in the toilet.
