It all depends who leaves. Do Owen and Viduka's contracts run out this summer? If so, that's a load of cash saved. A whole load of shit needs to be cleared out, and some reliable players brought in on the cheap. If yoy don't go up this season you are staying in the 1st division for a long time.

 

Not sure what you base that on. West Ham went up 2nd time of asking having sold pretty much every senior player they had.

If we end up with 17,000 in the ground then maybe. Othwerwise at some point the additional cash will come to the fore eventually.

True, although equally that's not why we were relegated this season. Yahweh help us, but even if Kinnear had stayed healthy all season we'd have likely stayed up (1 fucking point ).

 

The scary problem is that we're going to lose a lot of players (both out of contract and fire sale), yet still may have no money to spend and may still have expensive on the books.

 

That and Ashley will probably have the club up for sale fuelling uncertainty/have sold it to Arthur Daley who then is forced into administration.
