At least you didn't spend most of the day labelling 5,000 envelopes...! ;)

resulting in me having to deal with the Walker posse over the phone as we now assess that area of Newcastle

Worst shift I've ever done was 7 in the morning until 10.30 at night...cooking all day. I was only meant to be in 7 until 3, but the chef who was due in to do the 3 til 10 shift phoned in sick, so I had to cover his shift. Literally spent the whole 15+ hours cooking breakfasts, pizzas, burgers, pastas, salads, etc.

My shift at work on Tuesday involved a 12-hour shift, an unfortunate stab victim and a 60-pint blood transfusion. We then got a bloke who had accidentally slit his wrist through his artery whilst clearing up some rubbish in his garden - needing another 8 pints.

If anyone feels like going to give blood anytime soon, it would be appreciated as there's a bit of a shortfall in the Gateshead area at the moment :rimshot:

Im sure if you go down the High Street at 11pm on Friday with a bucket you should be able to collect quite a bit. :rimshot:

Aye, the long days are a bitch like, especially when there is travelling long distances involved. Hope the meeting was worth it, there's nothing like adding insult to injury like a long distance meeting that proves to be a waste of time
