Scottish Mag 3
Newcastle's Peter Lovenkrands could leave St James' Park in search of top-flight football, according to the winger's agent. The Magpies were relegated on the final day of the Premier League season as they lost 1-0 at Aston Villa to bring to an end 16 years in the pinnacle division. Lovenkrands' six-month deal in the North East is due to expire in June and his agent, Ivan Marko Benes, has confirmed that the Dane is looking to extend his stay in England. But the 29-year-old is also keen to play in a principal league, claims Benes, meaning Newcastle, who will be playing Championship football in 2009/10, may not be an option. "We are looking for a new contract for Peter in England," Benes told Bold.dk. "Most players want to play in the top division, so Peter is no different." Lovenkrands had hinted earlier in May that he was keen to extend his stay on Tyneside.

BigChrisfgb 0
He should stay, when he came he was told that we could go down, and you have a job to do, I mean it was only the other week he was saying Newcastle is great, I regret going to Rangers instead, well now is your time to show some loyalty. To be fair, he was never EPL class, but agaist the teams who struggled he was great, and if he can do that against 23 other teams next season then that would be all we ask. Craig 6700
No doubt this is the thoughts of an agent (keen to have a bigger cut with his player being in the Premiership) rather than the player... Someone want to remind the agent that he wasn't playing for anyone 6 months ago?

Barney 0
What was it Fat Fred used to say(all the f'n time) about players leaving? Spot on about the 'heart the size of pea'. Bottled his one on one v Everton and looked like he'd been snapped in half in 2 of our games when there didn't seem any damage was done. Maybe he should go back to the SPL. We will need pace in our squad next season though.
Gemmill 46525
He'd probably be alright in the Championship, but he can fuck off if he wants away. Completely anonymous on Sunday, and I'd actually advocated starting him as well.
Row Z 0
Reckon he'd get a few in the Championship so we should try and keep him. Pace to burn and it's not like the Premier League where every centre half can match him for pace.

Noelie 103
Lovenkrands the first to go? I don't think so, I think any player on loan for the season will be the first to go followd by those who want away and can find a buyer.
Jimbo 175
Viduka back to Zagreb according to media in Croatia.
ChezGiven 0
AFTER sinking the Newcastle and the fallout in the Championship league, everything is going izgledniji Mark Viduka. Australians as the destination referred to Croatia. The Australian has not specified if there are any concrete offers from the 33-year attacker Newcastlea, but it appears that this outcome is the end of his career the former Australian team members, rather hopefully options. The least likely option is to go to a league, set local media. Namely, the Australian says that is quite certain that Viduka will leave the ranks now drugoligaša Newcastlea and wants to finish career in one of the clubs who play at the highest level. Given the problems with injuries that have met last season, it seems to be difficult to find employment in one of the clubs who play in the Champions League. Therefore, remains his involvement in one of the clubs who are fighting for wintering in Europe. As for Croatia, well, this is logically imposes Dinamo. Viduka has been with the Zagreb club while he also called Croatia, played Champions League, and it is clear that the Mamic desire to contest in the season 2009./2010. Mutual interest that could definitely be. Is not turned off, or leave in time for recall, Vidukini from Pridrage near Zadar. Given that the specified place in the regions of King novigradskih fishermen Rene Sinovčić, may play and Zadar on the map lokalpatriotizma, although it is hopefully a bit of options. Otherwise, Viduka is not glorious increased with the Zagreb audience. More importantly, his supporters are zamjerili as the game that was called, then in the Champions League matches, was rather imprecise. This culminated in a duel with the Zagreb Ajaxom (0:0) when he was off Salvo whistle because of the match missed a few chances the dea

Isegrim 9936
He'd probably be alright in the Championship, but he can fuck off if he wants away. Completely anonymous on Sunday, and I'd actually advocated starting him as well. This. I wasn't the biggest fan (understatement) of his signing, but I think he would be ok as a squad player for next season. If he has other ambition fair enough, I doubt that he'll stay long at his next club then though...
