Kid Dynamite 7327
Just booked 5 days in Caesars Palace next April for my Stag do. We are in the cheapest rooms and reading up online they seem to be a bit grotty (meant to be 5 star!!!) but apparently if you hoy a decent tip in they upgrade you to a nicer room. Has anyone tried this? Any advice on where to go?
snakehips 0
Went there last year with Mrs Hips. Fantastic. Love the place. Stayed at Bellagio first, then MGM Grand when we went back. However, what me and wor lass did whilst there bears no resemblence to what you and your mates will want to do. Apart, maybe, from a helicopter ride to Grand Canyon (with champagne lunch in the Canyon) which was just burilliant.
ChezGiven 0
Its all about the green stuff, if you've got it, they'll sense it and upgrade you anyway. Or they'll have heard of Blyth when they check your passports and your room will have the bulk of your hotels air conditioning running through it. Rob W 0
Caesars is quite good - a bit dated in the attractions line but the overall standard is reasonable - you're not going to spend a lot of time in your room anyway - just don't try and smuggle in professional ladies from outside - they have plenty available at set rates

If you're playing roulette always put a couple of chips on red or black.
Gemmill 47213
Aye been a canny few times. Stayed a canny few places but not Caesars. Caesars was always a decent one to have a bit wander round though. I'm sure your rooms will be fine - even the cheap rooms on the strip tend to be ok. In terms of what to do, go to the Bunny Ranch. Helicopter down the strip at night is probably decent although I've never done it. I'm assuming you're mostly gonna be on the piss though, so I guess all the tarty nightclubs will be a good bet? Steak house called 9ine (think that's how they spell it) is meant to be decent too.

tooner 243
bring a TON 'O' CASH, vegas is excellent but fucking expensive...unless you are gambling and winning, booze is generally "free" if you are gambling (minor tipping required to get the waitress back before you are done your drink), and the money you lose offsets the "free" aspect. snakehips 0
Take a suitcase with next to nowt in it, and buy a load of gear at the outlet stores. Go to the top of Stratosphere and get on the 'rides' on the roof. If you have the balls to do it, you're a better man than I!!

Gemmill 47213
http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/108/las-...ld-know-404036/ There used to be a thread of must-do Vegas experiences on there, but I can't find it. That one might have some decent stuff in though.

Gemmill 47213
Aye I went to the Grand Canyon, but went there first so just did the drive from the Canyon to Vegas. The Hoover Dam is worth stopping off at for a bit of a wander.

Soopafly 0
Avoid Dicks last resort in Excalibur. The staff are supposed to be witty etc. Just reminded me why I hated Americans. Anybody else who went think MGM was really dissapointing?
