I enjoyed Sundays Electric Dreams.  Covered themes that have already been looked at in big screen adaptations of PKD's work.

I'm going to start The Deuce and Mindhunters this week I think.

I always am a bit shocked he lived on pet food.

I read that about him once before, i.e. when he was skint in the 50's him and his wife ate cat food. I'd have thought stuff like tuna and baked beans were about the same price like  But he was a bit soup-de-loop. There's a short story of his I read where the protagonist kills his cat then ends up trapped in a cell where all the food is cat food. Or something like that

Just want to add to the recommendation, ~3 episodes in Mindhunter and it's fucking fantastic.  Best TV I can remember watching in quite a while.

Mindhunter isn't really what I was expecting at all.  I quite enjoyed the first couple of episodes but I was a bit disapointed after the praise it's been getting.  The third episode was a massive step forward though.

Finished it last night and thought it was superb all the way through.  Agree it isn't what it started out as, but that would've just been a top-notch procedural drama doing the usual routine of raising and reducing tension by season.

This feels like it could be more and certainly different.  Like it didn't just blow its load and leave us nowhere to go.

Aye I finished it Friday and thoroughly enjoyed it.  It's certainly set up to have it's best days ahead of it.

Aye same, gave it go then ended up watching it about a week or so. Thought Jason Bateman and Laura Linney were really good as was the lass who played Ruth.

That is actually what we were thinking of starting on next, because it looked like Narcos. So not as good?

Youre asking the wrong man. The lazy twat couldn’t be bothered to read the subtitles.

Probably too distracted thinking of all those lasses he didn’t have he balls to bone in his youth.

Yeah I though narcos was ace. Didn't think the second season would be good, but it was.

You know there's a third season don't you? Or are you just mixing the first two up as one because they're about Escobar?
