Get on iplayer. There's 3 seasons, and you should go back to S1 and work your way through. You won't regret it.

@Rayvin The concept is simple. 20 odd people in a mansion. 3 are seeded as traitors, the rest are the faithful. The faithful don't know who the traitors are, the traitors know each other and plot to murder the faithful. The faithful need to work out who the traitors are and each episode banish someone, who may or may not be a traitor. The last person or people standing get a pot of cash. What makes the program is the sense of suspicion and paranoia amongst the contestants.

I wouldn't recommend going back to watch previous series though as Gemmill has. This is more a water cooler show lived in the present. Just watch it as it drops. If you like it enough, you can go back and watch the previous series, also ones from other countries. I like it but couldn't be arsed doing that personally.

Season 2 was unbelievable. But to understand how good S2 was, you should see S1 first, which was also great btw. You'll be fully caught up with all seasons before S3 finishes anyway, cos it's that good.

If you watch S3 first, you might come across spoilers for S1 and 2 which would spoil them.

Basically ignore Renton.

Squid game 2

Boring shite. Loved the first series, and the great thing about k-dramas of which I have watched a shitload over the last couple years, is that they are 1 series and done.

This is so obviously a cash in after the success of series one and is completely pointless. Also ends on a fucking cliffhanger when I didn't know there was a series3 in the offing

Avoid

I only watched S2. It was great. But part of this was the social aspect of talking to people about it. I get you don't do this though. :)

As for spoilers, howay man. The person who won S2 is now famous with their own podcast etc. S/He was literally on the news at the time. That ship has departed and any passing reference in S3, which I doubt there would be, is irrelevant.

Basically ignore Gemmill Rayvin.

On the face of it The Traitors is basically an extended series of Deal or No Deal. Most of the time they’re debating who the traitors are they have no clue but it is actually compelling viewing.

I feared this. S1 was basically perfect with the perfect ending. Can't see what S2 can add but will probably watch anyway.

Hopefully they'll do another series of the game show. Really enjoyed that too.

Given that Rayvin didn't even know the concept of the show, I don't think he knows anything about who won S2, but well done on giving up the sex of the winner so you've at least partially spoilt it.

Fixed.

Look, not knowing the rules of the game does not mean he's not been exposed to the cultural impact, even if he doesn't consciously know it.

Most people are quite time limited on what they can watch. That being the case, there are plenty of other things you can do with your time than watch old game shows.

Re read your post, you're still giving away spoilers. Better still, delete it, it's terrible advice.

Fixed again. Chances are Rayvin will have read this thread where S2 is discussed in some depth anyway. Now zip it.

Yeah he read it so well that he can't recall the concept, but he WILL recall the winner a year after the fact. Honestly, if I was a traitor I would definitely murder you but I'm not, I'm 100% faithful and everybody knows it.

The other aspect of this is if you watch 2 or 3 series simultaneously that is bound to detract from each of them and you will need to get to know 50 to 80 contestants. Not doable for most people, bound to be confusing since the location is the same and the most boring part, the tasks, are similar Someone hasn't thought about this it seems.

The wrongness is never ending.

If you do watch it at least wait til series 3 comes out because at least you'll get a conclusion and maybe this series won't seem so bad. Honestly not worth watching in isolation

We've watched seasons 1 and 2 of Shrinking on Apple tv over Christmas. Really enjoyed it.

Apple is consistently putting out good tv without much fanfare. Weird.
