Jill 0
I love Twin Peaks. This better be good because I always have to convinced people to stay with it through that really dodgy part in series 2. Started on Trailer Park Boys last night out of running out of episodes of Parks & Rec. Seems ok so far.
David Kelly 1224
It did lose a lot of momentum in the second season after they found out who killed Laura Palmer but they pulled it back at the end even if they left a lot of lose ends. I really enjoyed the film too but then again I love most of Lynch's films (excluding Inland Empire which made no sense at all).
Sonatine 11322
Aye, like a bit of Lynch.

Shot on a tiny Sony video camera, most of it on the backlots of studios...ie warehouses and so on..
Gemmill 44425
Twin Peaks was mint. Is he gonna be dusting Sherilyn Fenn off for the return? I bet she's an absolute beast these days.
ChezGiven 0
Its members only before midnight so i've never even considered going but Lynch's bar/club in Paris called Silencio is meant to be very groovy. Based on the club in Mulholland Drive. "They say that when men go into their 50s they dream of building gigantic towers to prove their virility. I have directed films, composed music, made all sorts of objects, works that had a beginning and an end. Now I want to make something solid. First, I started with painting. For the last three years I have been working in a lithographic studio in Montparnasse that Picasso and Miró used, drawing on the same stones where they painted. Then I started working on Silencio, which has taken the last two years. Looking at what we have done, I feel myself almost immortal, I have the feeling that I have coaxed out some of the atmosphere and the characters from my films, and even from my music." Ayatollah Hermione 13822
What drink offers has it got on? As far as Twin Peaks goes, I've never seen it but love the soundtrack so I hope Angelo Badalamenti is on board for it as well.

David Kelly 1224
First season is excellent. I've got the second to watch when I'm in the mood for subtitles. It's another series that has an excellent song on the opening titles. I just finished watching Luther which was the same.
Jill 0
I'm a big fan of The Bridge, I haven't yet found a subtitled show that I like as much (actually then again, there are loads I haven't tried). Anyone been watching Crimes of Passion that's been on in the same Saturday night timeslot that The Bridge used to be in? Another subtitled one, but more of an Agatha Christie feel to it. It's been alright, we've still got the last two to watch though. I started watching The Kitchen from the iplayer on the bus this morning, found it weirdly fascinating considering it's just watching different people make and eat their usual meals. I guess for a food freak like me it's what Gogglebox is to TV fans.
Howay 12496
Anyone watching Peaky Blinders? I'm only a few episodes into the first season but really enjoying it. Cillian Murphy is class, even if his Brummie accent is a bit ropey at times.
David Kelly 1224
The brummie accent is ropey at the best of times so I can't see that being much of a problem. I've just downloaded the first series, I'll probably make a start on it at the weekend.
