snakehips 0 Posted May 17, 2009 Share Posted May 17, 2009 Really surprised Hibs held Celtic, handing the advantage to Rangers, though I have no doubt Rangers will come unstuck against the arabs. But's it's them (Dundee Utd) I want your thoughts on. I watched a bit of them on Wednesday at Park Head and they really passed the ball around fantastically well at times. Scottish Mag 3 Posted May 17, 2009 Share Posted May 17, 2009 Hibs have been a decent side for a few years now and whilst they have had to put up with a load of their best players (Caldwell, Brown, Thomson, Whittaker, O'Conner and although hes returned now Riordan) being sold over the last few years have still continued to play alot of the good football that Mowbray had them playing. In all honesty though, NUFC is where my interests are and I have not seen a great deal of them this season as I have been "scunnered" with football other than Newcastle and Scotland. As for Asprillas comments the irony of that and other comments like the SPL or Championship thread is, and it kills me to say it, we have a fucking cheek slagging any other teams or leagues off. Yes we can take pride in the fact that Newcastle play (or have been playing) in what is one of the best leagues in the world if we are really honest for several years now there has been very little "football" served up at St James Park...
