Yogic 0
Im not saying Souness is on his way out, but people are talking about Ranieri a possible replacement for Souness if he is fired. Thoughts?
Jimbo 175
He will probably be the next Hearts manager, I like Ranieri as a character but I think he's an over rated manager.

Howaythelads 0
I'd be happy enough if he took over from Mr Souness. Did a good job at Chelsea and at other clubs, has a much better track record than Mr Souness. That doesn't take much though, tbaqfh.
chip2388 0
Hes ruled out the job at Hearts, i personally wouldn't want him here.
LeazesMag 0
He did very well at Valencia - the first time - and quite well at Chelsea, he is obviously canny and equally obvuosly a major improvement on clueless. But I think his tinkering would bug the hell out of me to be honest.

Only time I ever saw him lose the plot tactically was that semi final in Monaco, and I can think of times all managers have done worse.

Bombadil 0
I've always rated him. I thought he did very well with Chelsea pre-Abramovich and he doesn't get enough credit for what he did there. Not my first choice if I was chairman, but I definitely wouldn't mind him taking over.

adios 717
did he ? 51234[/snapback] Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's true but wasn't there all sorts of messing around with the board? Possibly bankruptcy.

ChocChip 0
It would be history repeating itself though wouldn't it? Local lad for a manger replaced by dour scotsman who no one likes but makes a couple of decent signings who is then replaced by media friendly ex-chelsea coach
Toonraider 0
I'd be pretty happy if Claudio took over. He's a very decent man...think how shit chelski treated him near the end of his time there, no backing from them, left him to fend off endless difficult reporters asking if his job was safe...not once did they back him, after he'd done pretty well there too ..and through all that he remained totally loyal to his club, wouldnt criticise them and stayed polite and smiling. To change the subject, what is happening with Martin O'Neil? I know he took time out, but does he plan to return? He'd be my first choice. But as much i didnt want GS in the first place, i think we have to give him more time, constant change is not beneficial to anyone, we need stability right now.
