Sounds like getting really fat so you can't be physically dominated isn't a winning tactic in top flight boxing.

He did make a career out of it until he came up against a better technician, to be fair.,

He's just lost a fight to the bloke in May. The answer was never gonna be "come back fatter".

That's another of my career options gone then. 🙁

I think, since the second Wilder fight, Fury has looked like his best fights were behind him. I wanted Usyk to win anyway. It’s just a shame he didn’t knock Fury out. As Fury will keep saying he won the fight. I hope there isn’t a third fight. Usyk has nothing to prove and I’d like to see him retire undefeated.

Right little quiz, who here has boxed before? i boxed for my regiment in the army and I scored Usyk well ahead.

Used to spar with my mates when I was younger. Not sure exactly what you’d regard as being a boxer but it’s at least an eye opener in terms of how difficult it is to hit and not get hit.
Why like? Do you want a fucking fight?

Because I don’t

I thought the decision was fair. Fury didn't offer much more than being a big fat fuck

Aye, I’m not a boxing know it all and I had a lot to drink last night but this was my read of it. Fury would spend a round throwing punches and then spend the next round fucking knackered

Compubox had Usyk landing more punches in almost every round, landing slightly more power punches and a lot more punches overall. It’s not definitive but it’s about as close as you can get to an objective view on who won.
Absolutely no surprise to see Fury and Frank Warren say it was a bad decision by the judges either. Even though you could tell by Fury’s whole demeanour when the result was being read out that he didn’t think he’d won.

Warren makes complete sense as a promoter with one marketable asset that has just been chinned twice in one year.

Especially considering the next in line is Dubois who is clearly already brain damaged - Warren will be shitting it because now his fights are worth a hell of a lot less without Fury as a world champ.
