lol are you fucking serious? faster and better timing than mayweather?

Well, no. He'd need to knock him out in the first five rounds which is unlikely but isn't impossible. Wouldn't surprise if he's winning the fight when  they sit down after the 5th or 6th.  Mayweather will own McGregor in the last 6 rounds.

Anything is possible. McGregor could turn out to be a natural boxer and with his youth and speed could really trouble Mayweather. However it's unlikely. In reality a first time boxer is incredibly unlikely to cause an upset against a fighter with a 49-0 record.

As long as people treat it for what it is, then it should be entertaining, as it has been up to now with the  pre fight shenanigans.

WWE type scenario. Good for entertainment and certainly a massive money maker for the parties involved.

As for the winner?

That'll be decided by the powers that be, who will gauge whether a re-match is feasible in terms of creating a similar frenzy over it.

Of course you were going to apply a conspiracy theory to boxing

I suppose the same powers that be decided that the best way to generate more money through a rematch for the biggest boxing match in recent times, i.e. Mayweather v. Pacquiao, was for it to be a boring, one-sided win for the former.

I'm going over my mates but he's wanting people to pay £5 in, says any surplus will go on drinks/food

I've done the same tbf. I'll have 5 mates over and each pay a tenner with the total cost of the purchase at $60. I'll have the bbq on and while drinks are sorted each of them will bring something.

Who? Me?

Hardly you ranga. If I would have missed the fight it wouldn't bother me. The same applies for my 5 mates coming over. Basically we pay $10 without the fuss of being annoyed by pissed Irish backpackers at the pub as the alternative. $10 is a reasonable amount to pay to watch at home on a big screen I reckon.

Aye he's got a good few going like so I think it'll be more than the £20 the fight costs but im still saving £15 and it's better than watching it on my own
