Flu Pandemic

I've never been  It was strictly an alliteration thing.

Renton refuses to go to Greece iirc because of the shitty paper in the bin thing.

Went to Corfu once as Gemmill says, the toilet paper in bin thing is gross mind, and I wasn't too keen on the packs of stray rabid dogs (the canine variety, not the Essex girls). Having said that I was thinking of giving it another chance.

Come to think of it Cancun had the TP/bin thing too but I justy ignored it. :yahoo:

Well if you do fancy Corfu I could recommend a couple of places although Paxos is nicer again (fly to Corfu then an hour by hydrofoil). It's what Corfu would have been like years ago on a smaller scale. I can would recommend the same apartments we went to as well. We'll definitely go back at some point. They were very well looked after with good facilities (especially by Greek standards). Where in Corfu did you go to btw? Because some of the resorts are proper shit.

Sidari, an appartment for £100 all in in November. It was the last week if the season and was basically brass monkeys. I realise I didn't give it an adequate chance.

I think I've just about had it with Spain apart from Barcelona, it's just a bit boring now, which is why I may give Greece a try. I still love France (Cote d'Azure) and might go to Italy in September first though.

Oh, and Greek wine. :boogie:

Sidari's canny British (went once years ago) to say the least. Not the worst resort but not great (at least it's more of a family place than a Club 18-30 one). Lovely beach though (the places with the nice beaches often get spoiled I suppose). I take it you mean October btw, the season's well and truly finished by November with the cold wet winters due to the proximity to Albania's mountains. Anyway, Paleokastritsa on the west coast is a lot quieter and nicer. Quite an old resort but classy with it. Also, Arillas is very nice and quiet too (only about 25 kms from the airport as well) also on the west. Seriously though, give Paxos a go. You and your lass would love it (anyone in their right mind would apart from someone wanting somewhere dead lively).

I am going to Sidari in 8 weeks

It'll be alright man. Loads of bars and tavernas. We're both snobs anyway :yahoo: Like I say as well, lovely beach. It'll fucking roasting in 8 weeks time btw.

All I want is hot sun, a swimming pool and a nice beach so I am fairly easily pleased. It would have to be pretty bad to put me off, I even managed to have a good time in Kavos

Kavos was a smelly shithole, beach was nice though.

I know that man, that was my point. Be careful though, the locals don't trust Albanians

I was agreeing. Place stunk though. Made me realise what people must feel like when I am around.

One of out traders got back from a holiday in Mexico last Monday and despite him being fine, the boss sent him home.

He was back yesterday so I guess armageddon is postponed.

Swine flu has reached my office! A member of staff has been ordered to stay at home having had it confirmed.

Also been informed by a friend who works for jc+ at cobalt that they have 3 confirmed cases there.
