Herbalism is just basically primitive pharmacology in all honesty. What I find ironic is the belief that it is somehow safer because 'it's natural'. The reverse is actually true because it has been subjected to virtually no research (no post marketing survellance for instance) and there are huge quality control issues. Herbalism will never be used to treat any real, serious disease safely or effectively.
