Fop 1
Will you lot fuck off with the bickering, every thread is turning into an episode of Tracy Beaker. Seriously though. This place is dogshit nowadays. Yup. Every thread turns is to whining bollocks and blokes going on like a bunch of tarts Swap pedantry for love and everything is

This place is dogshit nowadays. Feel free to contribute something then, also nobody's forcing you to read it. Way to miss the point by a country mile. I read it not because I'm forced to, but because I hold out some hope that things might pick up again. And I don't contribute much lately because every thread turns into this, so what's the point in even bothering to contribute? I realise it's only the internetz, but it's still a crying shame. Perhaps we're lacking the equivalent of a creative midfielder on the forum (Obagol). Or a genuinely nasty centre back (HTL)? I personally prefer more serious threads but they're always derailed pretty early on. The ones that are supposed to be intentionally funny are even worse though imo. I love this place in a gay way and you guys in a non-gay way ( ) so it'll take a lot more to get rid of me. The motivation is just somewhat lacking at the minute. Toonraider 0
I love the threads that just end up hysterically funny without intending to, you lot are so quick witted with your come backs. Honestly last year a couple months after my Dad passed away, I was feeling glum and came on here and for the first time in months I was really chuckling. I cant remember which thread it was now, but it cheered me up! Thing is, this forum comprises more really intelligent posters at any one time then most do in its lifetime, and I think sometimes you all clamor for the top dog spot, which results in threads where you try and score points off each other and totally lose sight of what its all about. Fop suspect that is what it's all about. (well that and the yearly Pedantry trophy, of course :D )
luckyluke 2
Good on him, I like him all the more now. It's be good to see a list of people who have turned down thw Queen's honours because it would severely embarrass the monarchy I think. It's actually quite bad form to crow about turning down an honour - the letter asks you if you would like to be considered for one, not please turn up on x day to get your MBE, i.e. you're not actually offered one per se, and so running to the papers that you've "turned it down" is actually rather rude. Not that I'm a royalist or owt.

Lazarus 0
Stephen Hawking came back from his first date in 10 years. His glasses were smashed, his wrist was broken, he had a twisted ankle and both his knees were grazed. Apparently she stood him up.
