I don't blame Wise I blame Ashley, I don't blame injuries or funny formations or disenchanted and disillusioned ex-managers - I blame Ashley...I don't blame the financial crisis or ghost loan singnings I blame Ashley. This is the man who made it all happen happless.

Aye Ashley takes the lion share of the blame but the idiots who signed shite like Smith, Geremi, Nolan, Taylor etc have played a massive part. We have arguably the worst midfield in the whole league...

But, but he's sorted out the financial side....

Every year we will be the ...

Most profitable club in Premier League 2008/09

Most profitable club in Championship 2009/10

Most profitable club in 1st Division 2010/11

.

.

.

.

Biggest club in history of Unibond 2020?

At this rate his wish of getting the wage bill down will happen, we'll have players on Minimum wage by 2021.

I think he was badly advised to begin with. However he's had plenty of time since he went hands on to see what was going wrong. The last transfer window summed it all up for me, two championship standard players, with the purchase of Nolan being forced by injuries, was so far south of what was needed it needed a passport.

And it was obvious what was needed. Everyone could see our manager and squad weren't good enough. Now for sake of bringing forward 20-30m of investment, he'll lose many times more than that. What a great businessman he is, I don't think.

I've said many times, Stoke brought in Beattie and Etherington for a combined £4.5m. in January. Look what that has done for them.

He needn't have spent 20-30m, £5m invested properly, would've lifted us out of this mess.

Aye, maybe less as you say.....but I think our piss poor midfield is one fo the main reasons for our demise and that needs/needed total reconstruction. Plus a decent CH and a back up for Enrique/Beye.

Sod it, let's just buy a whole new team, the current lot are useless!

Anyone who plays the 09 version will have complete sympathy with Shearer :nufc:

Demanding the Given payment upfront and tacking on £5m of his own and a couple of shrews buys as you point out would have made a world of difference. Whenever I see him on my Chinese telly he's rubbing his hands and grinning like a dunce.

I still think a making him play FM for a couple of hours might have saved us. :nufc:

Gambles £300mil on a stock market bet but wouldn't spend a net £15/20mil on players for Keegan. Backed Wise over Keegan then seven months later is forced to abandon the 'system' that caused all the problems in the first place having discovered that Keegan was right all along.

What a fucking mug he is.
