The last transfer window summed it all up for me, two championship standard players, with the purchase of Nolan being forced by injuries, was so far south of what was needed it needed a passport. And it was obvious what was needed. Everyone could see our manager and squad weren't good enough. Now for sake of bringing forward 20-30m of investment, he'll lose many times more than that. Aye, maybe less as you say.....but I think our piss poor midfield is one fo the main reasons for our demise and that needs/needed total reconstruction.
