Park Life 71
TalkSPORT said listeners could expect "a heavy dose of cutting-edge comedy, controversial commentary and the odd eye-opening anecdote" in the show, which will be broadcast at 9pm on Sunday. The show has been billed as a one-off, but it's understood that it may become a regular feature if it is a success. Moz Dee, talkSPORT programme director, said: "TalkSPORT welcomes Russell back to radio. He's a unique talent who understands the medium brilliantly, and together with Noel Gallagher, it'll be a must listen. "Both are proper football fans who just happen to be two of the most creative minds in popular culture." Russell wrote on his Twitter webpage earlier this week: "Tomorrow Cardiff, Friday o2. Sunday talksport radio show with Noely Noely G – this shall be a week of gentle wonder and reckless kissing."

Guest alex
I quite like his craic about football though. And Brand's column in The Guardian is canny too.

He proclaimed Shearer as the Geordie Pope the other week, was quite a good article.

Aye, he puts most "proper" journos to shame. re. Gallagher, not heard his footy craic, though if it's as 'Creative' as his music, does he just re-hash Liverpool punditry from late 60s- early 70s. He just talks commonsense in the main, with a bit of tongue-in-cheek banter hoyed in. Being a City fan he tends to have that self-deprecating outlook regarding his team lacking in the red half of Manchester.
Monkeys Fist 43695
I might give it a listen, if I haven't collapsed on the sofa in a wine/sunday bait fest coma.
Guest alex
Got to be better than some of the fayre served-up on Radio Five. Is there anything more inane and pointless than listening to some moron phoning-in to speak to that bint Izzy and Tim Lovejoy? I have to say that's one cliched criticism of Oasis I've never understood, they sound fuck all like the Beatles.
