ChezGiven 0
I think thats fair confidence Danny, if we get a result, it'll probably rely on a bit of luck. We do our fair share of shooting ourselves in the foot. I am just hoping we don't experience a Gomes flap resulting in a goal. Stevie and Tom will be intolerable. The game has that air of unpredictability about it.
ChezGiven 0
I thought he was faking it? good morning daniel, how are you on this fine day ? Fine thank you Tommo. You? yeah good thanks. looking forward to sunday ? Of course, always look forward to football. Shame the match can sometimes ruin a good drinking day. Confident but not overly. yeah silly early ko. where i live is an hour from newcastle so leaving mine at 3am Good levels of commitment mate. Shame some of the more southern based fans couldn't show the same. Will you be down in time to sample some of the delights of the Tottenham High road? yeah i hope to be down about 11ish with a bit of luck. whats your plans ? He's going clubbing at The Egg with me from 8am, necking a few bennies then up to chick-king for lunch.

JawD 99
Not expected anything from this game for a while. I dont think Martins and Owen are a great partnership anyway (as two up front), but I did like them in a three up front as mentioned earlier. Cant see Viduka starting, so Id imagine it will be Owen & Carroll up front, Viduka possibly coming on later in the game for one of those. Read something recently saying Martins has been carrying an injury for a while. I think 2-1 to Spurs is a fair shout.

Fit, Banking on Keane and Pav to start and Defoe to appear from the bench. just out of interest, do you rate pavlyuchenko ? Not massively, his pace is the main concern. He has a good first touch and a fierce shot but he isnt premiership paced. I hope it is fatigue from playing 2 seasons back to back and getting used to the mental pace. Who knows. One more season. snakehips 0
As in Stoke away last Sat, I'd take a point right now. However, this is NUFC and when something just seems really unrealistic it tends to happen i.e. turning defeat into victory.

Billy Whitehurst 895
It seems to be that ever since Spurs bought Palacios, they have stepped up a gear. I can't really see us getting anything from this one but I live in hope and we do have a habit of picking up results against them. Would probably go with. -----------------------------------Harper ------------S Taylor (if fit)------Edgar-------- Bassong -----Beye--------------------------------------------Enrique (if fit) ------------------------Butt--------------Guthrie ---------------------------------Jonas ------------------------Carroll------------Owen I think Edgar probably deserevs to still be in there after last week. I think Nolan, Ameobi and R Taylor deserve to be dropped. Edited April 16, 2009 by Billy Whitehurst
Holden McGroin 6582
I wouldnt go 3 at the back with the pace of Lennon on the wing. Maybe 4-3-3 would be better.
